Key Moments in JENRA History

1947

Tan Song Bok arrives in the Philippines from Fukien, China.

1972

The first of its kind in the country, Tatang Ric’s superette is established. This concept allowed customers to personally shop for products through supermarket aisles and pay through cashiers.

1985

The first Jollibee outside Metro Manila opens its doors in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

2000

Jenra Grand Mall welcomes customers as the first multilevel lifestyle center in Angeles City.

2009

The first cancer institute north of Manila serves the Kapampangan community: Sacred Heart Medical Center.

2010

Jumbo JENRA Dau, the first Jumbo JENRA location, opens to serve Pampanga.

2016

Multi-awarded 40-hectare property The Infinity opens. This commercial business district in Angeles City is JENRA’s first venture into township development.
